Already using AI for your money? Here’s where Mini-me Money fits.
Claude, ChatGPT and Perplexity can now link your bank accounts and answer questions about them. Mini-me Money keeps your financial books, and it works with the AI you already use. It doesn’t replace your assistant. It gives your assistant better numbers to answer from.
Side by side.

Where they’re strong.
If you use one of them every day, there’s nothing new to open. You link a bank and ask.

Ask for a debt-payoff planner or a net worth dashboard, and Computer builds it from your linked loans and cards. Source: Plaid

Asking a follow-up in plain words is what they do best.
Where Mini-me Money is different.
A transaction feed shows money moving. Books show where you stand. When you move $1,200 to savings, Mini-me Money doesn’t count it as spending, because it’s still yours.
Mini-me Money projects from your own bills and pay, and posts each one into the same books as your real transactions. A planned move to savings stays a transfer, so it doesn’t shrink your forecast. What you see for next month is a cash flow statement, not a guess in a chat.
If a bank can’t link through Plaid, upload its statement. Its transactions go into the same books, so your totals include every account.
Your books live in an instance of your own, with its own database and a full export. Connect Claude, ChatGPT or another MCP client to it, and change your mind later.
Use them together.
Keep asking the assistant you already use. With Pro, add Mini-me Money to it as a connector. Your assistant asks your books, and the numbers come from the books, not the model. It reads only when you ask. Your assistant’s own plan has to allow custom connectors, so check its settings first.
- Sign in to Mini-me Money and open the connect page.
- Copy your connector address.
- Add it to Claude or ChatGPT as a custom connector, and allow access.
Then ask the question that’s been bothering you: “How long could I go without a paycheck?” The answer comes from your books and your projected bills, not from the model’s guess.
See it on your own numbers, or on ours first.
